Inter Primavera defender Andrea Moretti has attracted interest from clubs in Serie C, but the Nerazzurri are likely to keep him instead.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the 19-year-old is a target for third division clubs Mantua and Legnano, but that the player is considered to be an important member of Christian Chivu’s Primavera squad and isn’t likely to depart this summer.

Mantua and Legnano are looking to reinforce their defensive ranks going into next season, and see the promising young defender as the right target to bolster their squads.

However, newly-appointed Primavera boss Chivu rates the young centre-back, and wants him as an option as he looks to have a strong campaign with the youth team during the upcoming season.

It looks as though the new coach will get his wish and Moretti will remain in the Nerazzurri’s youth sector, where he will be available for selection by the Romanian manager.
