Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin’s preferred destination is Inter should he leave his current club, despite reported in his signature coming from Spain.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the 26-year-old has expressed his desire to join the Nerazzurri over interest from the likes of Atletico Madrid and Villarreal.

Bellerin is one of the Nerazzurri’s top targets to replace Achraf Hakimi on the right side after the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain, and the club have agreed terms with the player.

The Spaniard has handed in his transfer request at Arsenal and made clear that he wants to depart for the Nerazzurri, but the Gunners are so far unwilling to accept Inter’s offer to take him on loan with a purchase option.

The player’s agent is set to meet with the English club today to discuss the player’s future and it is believed that he will be attempting to convince the club allow him to join Inter despite Atletico and Villarreal also tracking him.
