Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign Inter target Hector Bellerin from Arsenal.

This according to Spanish news outlet Marca, who report that the Colchoneros are awaiting the outcome of talks between the 26-year-old’s agent and Arsenal about his future and will look to make a move for him.

Bellerin’s agent is in London today to meet with the Gunners to discuss thee right-back and to try and convince the English club to allow him to leave this summer with the player wanting a move to Inter.

The 26-year-old is one of Inter’s top targets to replace Achraf Hakimi on the right, and he has already agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri and handed in his transfer request at his current club, but the Gunners have refused to accept the Nerazzurri’s proposed terms of taking him on loan with a purchase option.

Inter are awaiting the results of the discussions between the player’s agent and his current club to see whether they will be able to bring him in this summer, but so will Atletico, who are now also hoping to sign the Spanish defender.
