Inter’s squad looks set to receive some time off, with the players being granted a weekend off where they can have time to themselves away from training.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the players will reconvene in training where the likes of Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, and Lautaro Martinez will join up with the rest of the squad.

The Italian duo and Martinez are the last remaining players still on holidays, with the trio having been granted extended rest after their exertions with their international sides, with the Italians having won the Euros with the Azzurri and Martinez having been victorious in the Copa America with Argentina.

However, their designated vacation time is almost up and they will soon return to be with the rest of the squad after this weekend, where new head coach Simone Inzaghi will have a full complement of players available to him and can start to implement his complete vision for the squad.
