Young Inter striker has provided his perspective on his upcoming season and on how he’s enjoying training and pre-season with the senior Nerazzurri squad.

Speaking to Inter TV, as reported by FCInter1908, the 20-year-old opened up about working with not only the Nerazzurri players but also head coach Simone Inzaghi, and spoke highly of the environment in training.

Satriano enjoyed a strong campaign with the Primavera side last season, and he has continued on in this vein with strong performances in pre-season, winning many admirers.

It is not yet clear whether the player will remain at the club as a first-team player next season or be loaned out to ensure he gets top level experience, but what is clear is that he is ready to make the step up to top flight football, and that the Nerazzurri think highly of his future.

The young Uruguayan gave his thoughts about training with the Nerazzurri senior team, saying “I am very happy to be here and with how we are working – we must continue like this. Goals are always helpful, it is always nice to score.”

Next he spoke about working with new Inter manager Simone Inzaghi, and noted the importance of a positive relationship between a manager and players.

“His trust is important,” said Satriano of the coach, “I have to keep working, so I can continue here – it is important that he says certain things about me. He always talks to me, and I also look at the other strikers, I have to learn as much as possible.”

“For me being the first or second striker is the same,” he continued, “it doesn’t change me. It is wonderful to be here, the grown-ups try to say something to the little ones, it’s beautiful.”

Satriano closed by talking about his inspirations among teammates for club and country, stating “[Luis] Suarez and [Edinson] Cavani in Uruguay, but here [Romelu] Lukaku and Lautaro [Martinez] are the strongest. In attack I am in good company.”
