Inter do not intend to send young striker Martin Satriano to Cagliari as part of a deal for midfielder Nahitan Nandez.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri want to either send the 20-year-old Uruguayan on loan with a view to getting regular playing time or keep him in their squad.

Satriano enjoyed a strong campaign with the Primavera team last season, and has continued his good form into pre-season, leading to interest from a number of clubs including the Rossoblu.

The Nerazzurri have been involved in negotiations with the Sardinians over a move for Nandez for some time, and have been exploring the possibility of sending a player or players the other way as part of a player-plus-cash arrangement.

However, the club have made clear that Satriano is not a player they would be willing to include in this kind of a formula for a deal, as they want to see the player develop in the right conditions and will only take this into consideration when they deal with the 20-year-old’s future.
