Inter are considering keeping young Uruguayan striker Martin Satriano in the squad next season despite interest from a number of clubs.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, who report that the striker’s performances in pre-season have impressed the club and could convince them to make him a part of the attacking rotation for next season.

Satriano enjoyed a strong campaign with the Primavera side last season, and his form in pre-season has further increased his reputation.

A number of clubs in Italy as well as around Europe have shown an interest in the 20-year-old’s signature, including Cagliari and Crotone, and the Nerazzurri are considering a loan move to aid in his development.

However, he could instead be kept in the squad and make his move up to the senior team, with the club potentially ready to show faith in the youngster as an attacking option for Simone Inzaghi.
