Chelsea have had their offer for Inter striker Romelu Lukaku rebuffed by the player, who is happy in Italy.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the English club who have offered the player a contract worth over €10 million per season, but that he has made clear his wish to stay at Inter.

The Blues are thought to have inquired about Lukaku’s availability in recent days as part of their striker, though the Nerazzurri have made absolutely clear that they do not want to sell him, even in the event that an offer meets their valuation for the player well in excess of €100 million.

With the player similarly having every intention to reject the London club’s advances, it looks unlikely that they will make much headway with a move for him.

Meanwhile, the Blues are still interested in Chelsea wide player Emerson Palmieri, Marcos Alonso, and Davide Zappacosta, though they have not stepped up their interest for any of the trio.
