Radja Nainggolan In Sardinia To Complete Move To Cagliari From Inter, Italian Media Report

Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan is in Sardinia, where he is expected to complete his move to Cagliari.

This according to Italian news outlet centotrentuno.com, who report that the Belgian arrived late yesterday evening, and is expect to sign his contract with the Rossoblu soon.

Nainggolan has been expected to make the switch to Cagliari for much of the summer, with the player having spent the second half of last season on loan with the club and wanting to extend his stay.

The Nerazzurri are keen to get his wages off their balance sheet, and the Rossoblu want the player, but finding an agreement which is suitable for all parties has proved problematic.

So much so, that the 33-year-old has remained at Inter for long enough to have been involved in pre-season training and friendlies with the rest of the squad, though the players have been granted a weekend off by manager Simone Inzaghi and Nainggolan has taken the opportunity to travel to Sardinia.

The transfer saga is set to be done with soon, with the player ready to sign his contract and the clubs close to an agreement, and and the end is in sight.
