Atletico Madrid have placed themselves back in the frame for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez after speculation around his future begins to build once again, according to a report in the Argentinian broadcast media.
As has been reported by Argentinian TV channel TNT Sports, Atletico Madrid are monitoring the situation around the striker incredibly closely.
They were heavily linked with a move very early in the transfer window but they did not have anywhere near enough money to make Inter listen to their offers.
Now that Lautaro Martinez still has not signed a contract renewal with Inter and does not even seem very close to doing so, Diego Simeone’s side are back on high alert.
Arsenal are also very much in the frame for the forward who has become a key part of Inter’s project since he joined from Racing in Argentina.
It is believed he would still rather play for Inter than move away.
