Inter are not looking at Miralem Pjanic as a potential midfield option at all now after it became clear that he only wants to move back to Juventus, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the only possible destination for the Bosnian midfielder is Juventus after it became clear that he is not part of Barcelona’s plans at all next season.

The other factor that took Inter out of the running was that Marcelo Brozovic has begun serious contract discussions so it is much less likely that he will leave this summer.

Barcelona gave Miralem Pjanic the option to terminate his contract because the Spanish side are desperately trying to reduce their wage bill. He declined the offer but is actively seeking a move away.

His €8.5 million a year salary makes finding a new club extremely difficult and Barcelona will likely have to pay a percentage of his wage to facilitate the deal.
