Young Inter-owned goalkeeper Brazao has spoken about his relationship to different clubs and to the Brazilian international team.

Answering questions on Instagram, as reported by L’Interista, the 20-year-old spoke fondly of boyhood club Cruzeiro, and also gave his thoughts about highlights in his burgeoning career.

Brazao returns from loan with Spanish second division side Real Oviedo, having also spent the season prior in the same division with Albacete, and it is not immediately clear where his future lays.

In all likelihood the Brazilian will be loaned out again, possibly to a club in Italy, with a view to getting the most possible experience in senior football and allowing him to develop his game.

However, the young keeper is not just focused on his future, and also enjoys reflecting on the important events and influences which have already shaped his career.

About representing Brazil at youth team levels, the 20-year-old stated “It is a great feeling, surely one of the happiest moments of my life.”

Asked whether he could possibly return to boyhood club Cruzeiro, he stated “I can only say that that club will always remain in my heart – it will have a special place.”

As to who his personal idol is, Brazao stated “It has always been [Cruzeiro keeper] Fabio, and after meeting him he became even more so.”

As to the most significant award that he has achieved in his career, the 20-year-old stated “That of best goalkeeper at the U-17 World Cup. It was special and I can only thank God for having achieved it in my career.”
