Inter are already planning who they would pursue if Lautaro Martinez”s potential move to the Premier League were to come off, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the situation of Inter selling Lautaro Martinez would be very different to when they sold Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint Germain earlier in the summer transfer window.

With that transfer of the Moroccan, the entire transfer fee was kept by the club to help balance the books. With Lautaro Martinez though, it would be reinvested into finding a quality replacement for the Argentine.

The player that Inter seem to have earmarked as the first person to go after is Fiorentina’s young Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic. The 21-year-old had a breakthrough campaign in 2020/21 and has now been linked with moves to teams such as Liverpool and Real Madrid.

He would likely cost Inter somewhere close to €45 million.
