Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan helped ensure that Inter boss Simone Inzaghi wanted to sign Nahitan Nandez from Cagliari, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Belgian knows Nahitan Nandez very well as they have played together at Cagliari for the past two seasons.
That is why Simone Inzaghi spoke to Radja Nainggolan about the Uruguayan. He did not ask about the tactical side of the player as he can see that for himself already. The ex-Lazio boss wanted to know about his attitude and personality around the club to see if he would fit in at Inter.
Radja Nainggolan spoke glowingly about the player which may be why the move is expected to be finalised next week with meetings set to take place.
It is in the Belgian’s interest for the move to happen as it increases his chances of joining Cagliari on a permanent deal.
