Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is not interested in leaving the club this summer despite being linked with two Premier League clubs, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the only thing Lautaro Martinez wants to sign this summer is a contract extension with Inter on a higher wage than the €2.5 million he currently earns each year.

Both he and the club are aware that his importance to the team warrants a higher wage given the money many other members of the squad earn. His current deal runs out in 2023 so discussions are not as urgent as they are for the likes of Marcelo Brozovic who has just one year remaining.

That being said, the Argentine does want his future decided soon. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in exploiting the situation to sign the player but his main aim is to remain at Inter.
