The money from any potential sale of Lautaro Martinez would be reinvested in the Inter squad rather than kept aside to help balance the books, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the situation of a Lautaro Martinez departure would not be the same as with Achraf Hakimi where the transfer fee was held by the club and not spent on finding a replacement of the same skill level.

Lautaro Martinez would still rather sign a new deal with Inter than move to Arsenal who are now being heavily linked with the player. Inter have made it clear that it would take a really big offer of around €80 million for the player to be sold.

If that were to happen though, Inter would then chase some very highly rated individuals such as Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic or Sassuolo’s Giacomo Raspadori to replace the Argentinian.
