Three of Inter’s most important players will be back in Milan on Monday to begin their pre-season preparations under Simeone Inzaghi, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the trio of Lautaro Martinez, Nicolo Barella, and Alessandro Bastoni will all be back in Milan on Monday after their international exploits for Argentina and Italy in Copa America and Euro 2020.
All three players picked up winners medals in those tournaments as Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni beat England in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley, whilst Lautaro Martinez won Copa America with Argentina.
Simone Inzaghi will be very thankful to have more options available to him for pre-season friendlies because he will be able to rotate more effectively to not overwork any individuals. It will also let him evaluate more individuals than he has so far.
Lautaro Martinez is still being linked with a move away from Inter.
