Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is keen on exploiting the situation that Miralem Pjanic finds himself in at Barcelona, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, Inter are a possible destination for the Bosnian midfielder as his time at Barcelona appears to be coming to an emphatic end.

Barcelona are in a desperate situation regarding their wage bill where they have multiple players on enormous wages who are not very important to the team and have not lived up to expectations. Miralem Pjanic is one of those players as he earns around €8 million a year in Spain.

That is why Barcelona are looking to loan him out this summer so they can stop paying at least half of the wages. Juventus are the most likely destination as things stand but Inter may enter the race if Marcelo Brozovic were to leave the club.
