Inter are focusing on getting the Nahitan Nandez deal over the line rather than trying to pursue a deal for Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported in the pages of La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Uruguayan is very much Inter’s main focus right now and Hector Bellerin is viewed more as a second option if for some reason the deal did not go through.

The only situation that currently exists that would see the deal for Nahitan Nandez not go through is if the disagreement over the loan fee is unsalvageable. Inter want to pay €3 million for the one-year loan of the midfielder, but Cagliari wants them to pay €5 million.

This detail is expected to be ironed out when representatives of the two clubs meet on Monday to finalise proceedings. Nahitan Nandez already has an agreement on personal terms with Inter.
