Inter are set to have a decisive and serious meeting with Cagliari representatives very soon to try and finally finalise the Nahitan Nandez deal between the two clubs, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, the only thing holding up the transfer now is the fee Inter have to pay for the initial one-year loan before the deal becomes permanent.

Inter want to pay no more than €3 million for the loan section of the transfer, but the Sardinian club are hoping to receive €5 million.

The fee of V26 million at the end of the loan has already been agreed, as have personal terms between Inter and the Uruguayan midfielder. With the gap between the two clubs’ valuations being so minor, it is expected to be ironed out in negotiations very soon.

Inter will still move for either Denzel Dumfries or Hector Bellerin.
