Inter and Simone Inzaghi were plotting a move for PSV Eindhoven’s Denzel Dumfries before he put in some excellent displays at Euro 2020 for The Netherlands, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by La Repubblica, Inter have been pursuing Denzel Dumfries for some time and he still remains their favoured option to replace Achraf Hakimi this summer. He is, unfortunately, the most difficult to sign in a financial sense though.
it is looking very likely that Inter will sign two players out of the trio of Nahitan Nandez, Hector Bellerin and Denzel Dumfries. There will only be two if Nahitan Nandez is one of them because he is a versatile player that can be a right-back as well as a central midfielder.
If PSV Eindhoven do not open up to the idea of letting Denzel Dumfries leave on loan, then it is more likely that Hector Bellerin will join.
