Nicolo Barella is not going to rush into any contract talks with Inter as he is content with his current situation as a player who will not be sold, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Nicolo Barella is expected to sign a new contract with Inter quite soon but he is not going to rush into negotiations because the club and player are all on the same page.

It is clear he is one of the most important players in the team and possibly the most important for the belong term project at Inter.

He cemented himself as one of the best midfielders in the world during the 2020/21 Scudetto winning campaign and showed his skills with Italy as he helped Gli Azzurri win Euro 2020.

He currently earns €2.5 million a year which is not reflective of his importance to the team.
