Inter have been told very clearly by Sassuolo that they will not be able to sign Gianluca Scamacca on a loan deal this summer, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sassuolo have no interest in loaning out their talented young striker again this season. They either want a transfer fee for him or they want to keep him as part of their squad for the upcoming campaign.
Inter have been monitoring the player closely because they want someone to act as backup to Romelu Lukaku so that he can be rested more frequently than he was last season. With his strong build, Gianluca Scamacca fits the description well.
It is believed that Sassuolo want around €30 million for the Italian, and right now Eintracht Frankfurt are his most likely destination as he would get first-team football and be Andre Silva’s replacement.
