New Inter boss Simone Inzaghi would still love to have Manuel Lazzari as Inter’s replacement for Achraf Hakimi despite the difficulties with the transfer, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the dream signing on the right side for Simone Inzaghi is his former colleague at Lazio, Manuel Lazzari.

The Italian has shown over the past few seasons that he has frightening pace down the flank that would be perfect for replacing Achraf Hakimi who left for Paris Saint Germain earlier in the transfer window for €65 million upfront.

There are many difficulties with making the transfer happen though. Lazio would demand a fee for Manuel Lazzari that Inter cannot entertain at the moment.

Also, the relationship between Lazio president Claudio Lotito and Inter is now soured because of the way Inter poached Simone Inzaghi from the Biancocelesti at the end of last season.
