Inter are set to hold talks with Cagliari today about the futures of Radja Nainggolan and Nahitan Nandez, and the Nerazzurri are hopeful that the talks for the former can be finalized today.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported that the two clubs will discuss the Belgian’s future today, and that his move to the Sardinian club for next season could be finalized.
Nainggolan’s move to Cagliari has been expected for much of the summer, with the 33-year-old having spent the second of half of last season on loan with the Rossoblu and wanting a return for this season.
The Nerazzurri would like to offload the player and the Rossoblu hope to sign him, but the deal has failed to be completed as the economic terms have proved impossible to be agreed upon by all parties as multiple different formulas for deals have been proposed.
It is thought that with the Nerazzurri having stepped up their pursuit of Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, talks for Nainggolan have also accelerated along with the, and both clubs could hope to bring the Belgian’s transfer saga to an end today.
