Inter are hoping to bring in Monaco’s Keita Blade to replace Andrea Pinamonti in the attacking rotation available to head coach Simone Inzaghi for next season.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Senegalese striker is in the Nerazzurri’s site should they be able to offload Pinamonti.

Pinamonti is thought to be a player whose departure the Nerazzurri are aiming for, with the 22-year-old having been out of favour under Antonio Conte last season and not in the plans of his replacement as head coach Simone Inzaghi for next season.

Empoli are thought to be leading the chase for the striker’s signature, though it remains to be seen if they or any of their rivals can get a deal over the line.

Should the player depart, the Nerazzurri will look to replace him, and Balde looks to be their top target towards this end.

The 26-year-old has already spent one season on loan at the Giuseppe Meazza, during the 2018-19 campaign, and has also worked with Inzaghi before during the pair’s time together at Lazio.

The player would be keen on a move, and should Pinamonti leave the club will move to bring him in.
