Inter will be monitoring the situation of Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic, with the Bosnian’s agent set to meet with Juventus tomorrow.

This according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, who report that the player is hoping for a Biancocelesti return, but that should this not be in the cards he could also join the Italian champions.

Pjanic made the switch from Turin to the Camp Nou last summer, but after just one season in which he was unable to establish himself as a regular starter for the Blaugranas he wants out, while the Catalan giants are thought to have made offloading the 31-year-old a priority.

Juventus are the first-choice destination for the Bosnian, and he will hope that talks go well tomorrow and that an agreement with the Biancocelesti can be found, but should one not be he is still likely to leave Barcelona and Inter could be his destination.

The Blaugranas are set on getting rid of Pjanic during the window, and would be willing to send him out on loan, or to release him from his contract to allow him to join another club, although in the latter case he would expect substantial severance pay.
