Young Inter midfielder Gaetano Oristanio is set to join Eerste Divisie side Volendam on loan after being convinced by the Dutch club’s offer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the young attacking midfielder has accepted a move to the Dutch side after considering his future.

Volendam have already brought in Primavera goalkeeper Filip Stankovic, and he is now set to be joined by his teammate Oristanio.

The Dutch side have already had success with a young Inter player in the form of striker Samuele Mulattieri, who spent last season on loan with the club where he scored prolifically and earned a loan move to Crotone with his form.

The Dutch second division side will hope that they can enjoy similar success with not only Stankovic but now also Oristanio, and the players will aim to impress as Mulattieri did in the Netherlands.
