Inter could possibly have the chance to sign Denzel Dumfries from PSV, but only closer to the end of the window.

This according to Italian news outlet NerazurrSiamoNoi.com, who report that the Nerazzurri are not able to meet the Dutch club’s asking price for the midfielder, but could wait until the end of the summer to bring him in on favourable conditions when there is more pressure for them to offload the player.

Dumfries remains a top target on the right for the Nerazzurri as the club look to replace Achraf Hakimi after the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain, but his current club have remained firm on an asking price of €15-20 million for his signature.

The Eredivisie side will not accept an offer involving loaning the 25-year-old out with an option to buy, which are the only terms by which the Nerazzurri could bring him in.

However, should the window be drawing to a close and the player still be at PSV and make his desire to leave clear, he could put pressure on the club to accept an offer for him, in which the case the Nerazzurri could make their move.
