Lautaro Martinez, Nicolo Barella, and Alessandro Bastoni have all returned to the Nerazzurri training centre to be with the rest of the squad, and will spend today re-integrating with their teammates.

This is detailed by Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the trio will spend today getting prepared to re-join training this week.

Martinez returns from an extended vacation after winning the Copa America with Argentina, while Barella and Bastoni were a part of the Italy squad which won the Euros and are also only now ready to join club preparations for next season.

All three will immediately be administered COVID-19 tests before they can join their teammates, and then they will have lunch and relax with their teammates before beginning personalized physical tests and individual training.

The international tournament winners are the last remaining players to join up with the rest of the squad, and soon head coach Simone Inzaghi will be able to work with the entire squad in preparations for the upcoming season.
