Inter should soon wrap up the signing of Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, with the player’s agent expected to meet with the Rossoblu to complete the deal in the next few days.

This according to Italian news outlet la Repubblica, who report that the Nerazzurri are expecting the player soon, and the Rossoblu are ready to speed up proceedings.

Talks between the two clubs over a move for Nandez have advanced quickly, with the Nerazzurri stepping up their interest in the versatile Uruguayan as they look to settle on him as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi after the Moroccam’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Rossoblu could have extra motivation to move proceedings along after an injury to midfielder Marko Rog has made the signing of Inter’s Radja Nainggolan even more crucial for their season, with the Belgian’s move thought to be linked to Nandez going the other way.

The deal for Nandez could be done as early as the next 24-48 hours with the player’s agent ready to meet with the Rossoblu to finalize the move.
