Inter have yet to make contact for Lazio striker Joaquin Correa, with the 26-year-old Argentine having been linked as a potential replacement for Lautaro Martinez.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Correa has made clear his desire to depart from the Biancocelesti but that the player has not yet been the subject of any offers.

Correa is currently among the rest of the Lazio squad who will be travelling to Germany until August 7, but it is thought that he is hoping for a move away this summer.

The Argentine is believed to be among the Nerazzurri’s main targets to sign as a replacement for Martinez should they be unable to hold onto the 23-year-old.

However, as it stands they have not approached Correa’s current club about a move, and for now the player will have to wait and hope that the Nerazzurri’s interest becomes more concrete.
