Injury updates have been provided on Inter squad members as the Nerazzurri continue preparations for the upcoming season.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport report that defender Danilo D’Ambrosio could return to full training this week, while forward Alexis Sanchez will continue his personalized training regimen and midfielder Roberto Gagliardini is still ruled out as he continues to recover.

D’Ambrosio is ready to make his return to training with the rest of the squad and will do so this week, possibly as early as today.

Meanwhile, Sanchez is still a player who the club are hoping will be ready to make his return to the pitch in time for the Serie A opener at home to Genoa, and he is continuing a personalized training program to speed up his recovery and ensure full fitness.

Gagliardini’s situation still sees the 27-year-old recovering from a knee injury, with physiotherapy being applied to get him ready to train once again.
