Inter have declined an offer from Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku which includes €110 cash in addition to Marcos Alonso.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, who report that the Blues raised the offer from their initial €100 million plus Alonso this morning, but that the Nerazzurri have not budged and will not sell the Belgian unless he requests to leave.

Chelsea have stepped up their interest in the Belgian in recent days, with the European champions determined to sign a top-class summer and turning their full attention to the Inter man after looking set to miss out on Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

One strategy they have employed in trying to persuade the Nerazzurri to part ways with the 28-year-old is by including Alonso, known to be a target of the Italian champions, as part of a deal in addition to a large cash fee.

However, the Nerazzurri are not interested and will only sell Lukaku should the player ask them to.
