If Chelsea are to successfully sign striker Romelu Lukaku from Inter this summer, it will take a substantial financial commitment, with the Nerazzurri demanding €100 at the very minimum for the Belgian.

This according to UK broadcaster Sky Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have made their stance clear amid increased interest from the Blues in bringing the 28-year-old back to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have recently turned up the heat in their pursuit of Lukaku, with the Inter striker thought to be their main target in attack after looking to have missed out on Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

The European champions are determined to sign a top-level striker this summer, and the Belgian is now firmly in their sights.

It remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri, and the player, will be able to resist the pressure put on them by the English club to sell the Belgian, but they have set their valuation well above €100 million, making clear that an offer below this will not be enough for the Blues.
