Inter are considering Lazio’s Joaquin Correa as a replacement for Lautaro Martinez should the 23-year-old leave the club, with the player wanting to leave the Biancocelesti.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Argentine striker has made clear his desire to leave the capital club, who value him at €30 million.

Correa has decided that he wants to depart from the Stadio Olimpico this summer, despite the attempts of head coach Maurizio Sarri to convince him to stay.

A number of clubs are interested in the 26-year-old’s signature, including Premier League side Everton, and Lazio president Claduio Lotito has been clear on the striker’s valuation.

The Nerazzurri are also among the clubs seriously interested in the Argentine, with the player seen as an ideal replacement for Lautaro Martinez should he depart from the club, and they will now know what they have to do to sign him should they make a move.
