Inter could look to keep young Uruguayan striker Martin Satriano in the first team next season as the fourth striker in their attacking rotation, with the player hoping to convince head coach Simone Inzaghi in pre-season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 20-year-old is a serious candidate to fill out the attacking depth for the upcoming season.

Satriano enjoyed a strong campaign with the Primavera side last season, and has continued this form in pre-season where he has impressed in training and put in multiple impressive performances and scored a number of goals in friendly matches.

The young Uruguayan’s performances have been so impressive that he could convince the club to keep him for next season rather than sending him out on loan in search of senior experience.

It remains to be seen if Inzaghi will want to keep him on in this capacity, or if the player will be sent out on loan and a new striker brought in, but he is thought of as a serious option.
