Inter and Cagliari are very close to full agreement on a deal to bring Nahitan Nandez to the Giuseppe Meazza, with the player set to arrive back in Italy today ready to complete the move.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the only remaining details left to work out concern the precise amounts involved in a paid loan deal with an option to buy.

Talks for the Uruguayan have been ongoing, and look to have accelerated quickly, with the Rossoblu willing to allow the player to join the Nerazzurri on the terms of a loan with an option to buy.

The two clubs are in agreement on a €26 million valuation for the 25-year-old, though it is thought that the Nerazzurri prefer to pay €3 million as a loan fee with €23 remaining as a fee should they buy him permanently, while the Rossoblu want €5 million up front with €21 million for the permanent fee.

It is expected, however, that these negotiations will not be a problem, and that the move will be completed with the Uruguayan expected back in Italy to complete the move.
