Inter players Danilo D’Ambrosio and Valentino Lazaro have returned to partial training with the rest of the squad as they look to recover from injury setbacks.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the players are getting ready to return to full training soon.

D’Ambrosio suffered a thigh injury last week which had ruled him out of a few days of training, as well as out of the friendly match against Crotone last Wednesday.

However, it now appears that the injury was only minor, and that the 32-year-old should be able to complete his recovery quickly, having entered the squad again.

Lazaro, meanwhile, has had his summer interrupted by injuries in addition to a positive COVID-19 test and links away from the Nerazzurri, but the Austrian is now back and ready to train with the squad again.
