Inter could look to sign PSV’s Denzel Dumfries should Romelu Lukaku be sold to Chelsea.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Dutchman could become an attainable target in the event that Lukaku is sold.

Dumfries is thought to be one of the Nerazzurri’s priority targets to replace Achraf Hakimi after the Moroccan was sold to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, bringing him in from PSV has proved difficult with his current club asking more than the Nerazzurri have been able to afford with their offers.

This situation could change, however, should the Nerazzurri accept a massive offer from Chelsea, who are pushing hard to sign Lukaku and could offer €130 million for the striker.

Should such a large fee come in for Lukaku, the Nerazzurri will no longer have the same financial constraints in their search for a right-sided player, and could look to immediately reinvest some of the cash received for the Belgian strengthening the team in other areas.
