Inter are considering their options to replace Romelu Lukaku should the Belgian be sold to Chelsea, with Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata and Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic top of their shopping list.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that a number of names have come up on the Nerazzurri’s radar as replacements for Lukaku but that the two Serie A starts would be the most prioritized arrival.

Chelsea are putting pressure on the Nerazzurri to sell Lukaku, with the English side also working hard to replace the player on a move, and the striker’s departure could come suddenly.

Should he depart, the Nerazzurri will waste no time in bringing in a player to replace him, and have already identified two players who they could move for.

Vlahovic has attracted interest from a number of clubs after his form for La Viola last season, including from Premier League side Tottenham, but the Nerazzurri could decisively put themselves in contention for the 21-year-old should they find themselves needing a centre-forward.

Zapata, meanwhile, is another profile liked by the club to directly replace Lukaku, though the Colombian would not come cheap with his current club Atalanta thought to sternly value the player at €45 million.

Neither of these player would arrive if Lukaku is to stay in the end, but should the Belgian’s departure come then they will immediately enter the Nerazzurri’s radar.
