Lazio have made clear their valuation of Argentine striker Joaquin Correa, who Inter are considering signing should Romelu Lukaku be sold to Chelsea.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 26-year-old would cost in the region of €25-30 million should the Nerazzurri look to bring him in.

Inter are seriously considering the future in attacking areas, with the possible departure of striker Romelu Lukaku suddenly looking to be potentially close on the horizon as Chelsea step up their interest in the Belgian.

Correa is one player who the Nerazzurri like, with head coach Simone Inzaghi in particular a fan of the Argentine, with whom he worked for several seasons when in charge of Lazio and with whom he enjoys a good relationship.

Should the Nerazzurri decide to bring the player in as part of a rebuild of their attack following a Lukaku sale, they would be able to sit down and negotiate with Lazio as long as they are willing to meet the Biancocelesti’s asking price.

Meanwhile, Sassuolo’s Giacomo Raspadori is on the Nerazzurri’s list of attacking targets should Lukaku leave, but his current club don’t want to let him go until next summer, while Monaco’s Keita Balde is another former Inzaghi player from the coach’s Lazio tenure who could be brought in as a low-cost option.
