Young Inter goalkeeper Filip Stankovic has joined Erste Divisie side Volendam on loan for next season.

This is confirmed by the Nerazzurri’s official site, which announces that the 19-year-old will play for the Dutch club until next summer.

Stankovic, who is the son of Nerazzurri legend and current Red Star Belgrade head coach Dejan Stankovic, has come through the youth ranks at Inter, enjoying an impressive campaign with the the Primavera side last season.

The player and the club have been considering his future, with experience in senior football the priority and a loan move expected, and it is now confirmed that Volendam have won the race to bring the young goalkeeper in.

The Dutch outfit have already enjoyed success with a young Inter loanee, with striker Samuele Mulattieri having enjoyed excellent goalscoring form for the club last season, and they also look set to bring in Stankovic’s Primavera teammate Gaetano Oristanio on loan.
