Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti has yet to say yes to a loan move to Empoli for next season, with the Nerazzurri having reached an agreement with the Tuscan club already.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the player’s approval is still missing but that the loan move is nevertheless expected to be completed by the end of the week.

Yesterday Inter and Empoli met to discuss details on the deal for Pinamonti, with the newly-promoted Serie A side agreeing to pay half of the 22-year-old’s wages in order to take him in on loan for the upcoming season.

There is still interest in the striker from clubs outside of Italy, but the Tuscans are now the heavy favourites to sign him, and should confirm his arrival on loan soon unless the player decides to reject the opportunity to join the newly-promoted team.
