Inter ultras group the Curva Nord have continued their protests against the prospective sale of striker Romelu Lukaku.

Italian news outlet FCInter1908 report on a banner displayed outside the club headquarters singling out club President Steven Zhang, reading “Zhang, The Time Is Over.”

Lukaku’s exit has looked increasingly likely this week, with Chelsea pushing hard for the Belgian, and the possibility that the Nerazzurri could accept an offer for him has provoked an uproar among supporters.

Some of the most vehement protest has come from the Curva Nord, with the group leaving no doubt as to their displeasure with the situation, releasing a statement yesterday condemning the possibility of a sale and displaying a banner attacking the club for it.

The group have continued their protest today by unveiling another banner, this time directing their protest at Zhang, showing that the group are not ready to tolerate any decision by the President to let go of Lukaku and signalling a major fracture in the relationship between the President (and owners Suning more broadly) and the fans.
