Inter could part ways with Dutch centre-back Stefan de Vrij this summer, with the player’s agent sounding out interested teams in the Premier League.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that de Vrij’s agent Mino Raiola has been in talks about a potential sale of the Dutchman.

De Vrij’s departure could follow that of Achraf Hakimi last month and then, potentially, Romelu Lukaku soon, though for the time being no clubs are thought to be in advanced talks for the 29-year-old.

Should the defender be sold, it is thought that the Nerazzurri value him at no less than €40 million and would only let him go should an offer arrive that meets this asking price.

De Vrij’s current Inter contract runs until the end of June 2023, and sees the player earn a net of €4.2 million per season.

At the beginning of last season there had been talks about extending the player’s deal on improved terms, but with the well-known financial situation at Inter this appears to be on the back-burner.
