Inter met with Sassuolo yesterday to discuss the possibility of signing Neroverdi striker Gianluca Scamacca, as well as potentially sending Martin Satriano the other way.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the clubs held talks which could potentially lead to moves in both directions.

Scamacca is a player who the Nerazzurri are thought to admire, and the club could look to bring the 22-year-old in this summer as they look to strengthen their attack.

Meanwhile, Satriano has impressed in pre-season after enjoying a strong campaign last season with the Primavera side, and his form has attracted the attention of a number of clubs.

Sassuolo made clear in yesterday’s talks that they are among the clubs interested in the 20-year-old, though for now it is unclear how serious their interest is and whether they are likely to make a move for the young striker.
