Turkish giants Besiktas have made Inter midfielder a contract offer, which the Belgian has rejected.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Istanbul-based side have offered then 33-year-old a two-year contract worth a net of €2 million per season, but that he is not convinced by their offer.

Nainggolan remains an Inter player despite persistent links away this summer, with the club thought to consider him a fringe squad member and looking to offload him.

Negotiations have been ongoing with Cagliari to send him to Sardinia once again, with the player having spent the second half of last season on loan with the Rossoblu.

However, it has still been difficult for the Nerazzurri to offload his significant wages, with the club having opened up to offering severance pay to convince him to leave in recent days but the midfielder still not accepting their proposals.

It remains to be seen whether the Belgian will depart from the club this summer, or whether he will not decide to accept any offers to leave.
