Inter are considering a move for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, but must act fast to sign him amid competition from Premier League side Tottenham.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 21-year-old is a target for the Nerazzurri to replace Romelu Lukaku should the Belgian be sold, but that Spurs are also considering him as a replacement for their star striker who could be on the move.

Lukaku looks close to the exit door, with Chelsea having pushed hard for the 28-year-old and both the Nerazzurri and the player ready to accept the English side’s offer, and the Nerazzurri are wasting no time in identifying a replacement.

Vlahovic enjoyed strong form for La Viola last season, and the Nerazzurri have begun to see him as one of the main candidates to replace Lukaku, with the Tuscans placing an asking price no lower than €60 million on the 21-year-old.

However, aside from having to negotiate with the player’s current club, Inter will also have to beat Spurs to his signature, with the London club considering the Serbian as a potential replacement for Harry Kane should he depart this summer.

If the Nerazzurri act fast they could win the race for Vlahovic’s signature, but should they wait too long they could face a battle with Spurs for the young striker.
