Inter head coach Simone Inzagh, Sporting Driector Piero Ausilio, and CEO Beppe Marotta will not resign from the club, even if Romelu Lukaku is sold this summer.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the trio have made the decisions to remain with the Nerazzurri and will not resign over the possible sale of Lukaku.

Lukaku’s potential departure has greatly increased the uncertainty in what was already a summer of upheaval at the Giuseppe Meazza, leading to speculation as to the status of other important figures at the club.

Head coach Inzaghi is thought to be unhappy with the player’s sale, with the manager having joined from Lazio earlier this summer to replace Antonio Conte and hoping to rely on the Belgian as an important player in his squad.

Marotta and Ausilio, meanwhile, are reportedly not in favour of allowing Lukaku to be sold, and it has been thought that the pair could resign from the club due to being upset with the decision.

However, none of the three men have any plans to leave the club even if the Belgian goes, and will stay on in their role to steer the club through a difficult period.
